We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our office team. Someone who has experience with administration processes, who will work alongside our school secretary to ensure that the school office continues to be highly effective.
Our office is a busy and dynamic part of our school. It is the centre point of the school, co-ordinating all aspects of school life beyond direct teaching and learning. The role is multi-faceted and variable, meaning that every day is different.
The Administration Assistant role requires efficient and effective communication with all stakeholders. It will include meeting and greeting visitors to the school, preparing letters, posters and flyers for all school events, managing our social media, digital communication and website, ensuring it is always up to date and compliant with OFSTED requirements. Orchard Park is a relatively new school and is now in its 12th year. We pride ourselves on our positive and nurturing ethos, quality first teaching and high expectations in all we do. Our 2017 Ofsted stated that we are school where “there is a culture of ambition, where children are encouraged to dream big.” We are a one form entry school serving 225 children and their families. This includes a nursery class, giving us pupils aged 3 to 11. Our pupils are focused learners who make strong progress and behave well.
Work hours: 12.30pm to 4.30pm - 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Salary Grade 3, scale 5 - £8428
