PE and Sports Premium Funding

Since September 2013, the government has provided additional funding to improve the provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools.  This funding has been allocated to primary school Headteachers based on the number of pupils in Years 1 to 6.

Please click the links below to see detailed breakdowns of how we have used this additional funding to make substantial improvement to the quality of PE and sport that we offer, and the impact that it has had on our children.

School Games Mark

The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress.

The School Games Mark is currently on hold.  Therefore, we retain our most recent Silver Award from 2019.

Participation in Sporting Activities

Due to restricted access to sporting events and clubs during Spring 2020 - Autumn 2021, this data is our participation from 2018 - 2019. We have planned many opportunities for the children to engage with a range of extra-curricular activities and events throughout the forthcoming year.
