PPA Teacher:  0.4  Maternity Cover

We are looking for a PPA teacher to join our team for the rest of the academic year. We need someone who will help implement our curriculum through a number of classes, ensuring that intent statement is realised and impact is strong. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high quality teaching and learning opportunities across agreed curriculum areas. A teacher who will strive for excellence. Someone who will exploit all cross-curricular opportunities to ensure that pupils make rapid progress through an enriched experience.

As we begin to exit the pandemic, the role of the teacher has never been so important. At Orchard Park, we recognise that we are the key leaders in supporting children and their families through these unprecedented times. This looks different for every child, family and community and therefore we need a teacher who is intuitive, as well as flexible. Additional PPA provision will enable the team to address the catch up agenda and to plug gaps quickly and effectively.

At Orchard Park, we prides ourselves on our positive and nurturing ethos, quality first teaching and high expectations in all we do. Our staff thrive being part of the Orchard Park team. They state:
“Orchard Park has completely transformed the way I teach. I have had excellent opportunities to develop as a teacher through continual supportive CPD and challenge. Having excellent ICT resources, teaching at Orchard Park is fun and innovative. The children are keen to learn and a pleasure to teach”.

As a school, we can provide you with:
•    An enthusiastic, talented and dedicated team to work alongside
•    A school where everyone is valued, wellbeing is of high importance and the team ethic is strong
•    Pupils that are hardworking, well behaved and passionate about being the best version of themselves

We are facilitating visits to the school now, under strict health and safety guidelines. These visits need to beyond the school day. These visits provide you with the opportunity to meet the Headteacher, as well as give you some context surrounding our school community.

Please contact Lynsey in the school office to organise a visit on office@orchardpark.cambs.sch.uk
