Class Dojo: A Guide for Parents

What is Class Dojo?
Class Dojo is an easy-to-use communication app that connects teachers, students, and families. It helps everyone stay involved by sharing what’s happening in the classroom through photos, videos, and messages.

Key Features

Portfolios
Portfolios are like online folders where your child can share their schoolwork with their teacher and you. They can upload photos, videos, drawings, and documents. Teachers can approve the work and give positive feedback, and parents can leave comments or likes too.

Stories
Stories are updates from the class or school, similar to a social media timeline. Teachers share messages, pictures, and videos to keep you in the loop about what’s happening at school.

Messages
You can message your child’s teacher directly through Class Dojo — no need to share phone numbers. Teachers try to reply within 48 hours, Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 5 pm. If a teacher is away, they will respond when they return.

Dojo Points
Teachers use Dojo points to encourage good behaviour. Each child has a fun monster avatar that earns points for things like being kind, working hard, or doing great homework. Your child can customise their monster through their student account.
